The Blue Monkey Sports Restaurant is located in Northampton County and serves as the hometown bar and restaurant for 3 local school districts:  Catasauqua, Northampton, and Whitehall.  Originally founded in 2005 and recently celebrating our 10 year anniversary, owners Matt Klinger, Craig Werley, and Brian Conrad are dedicated to providing our customers an entertaining dining experience highlighted by our improved menu, a beer selection of over 100 craft beers, high definition TV’s (a TV at every booth) and a chance to win prizes off the Lehigh Valley’s largest spinning bar wheel.

The origin of the restaurant / bar date back to 1946 when the location was originally run as a corner bar restaurant by Willard, Agnes, and Gussie Holzer called Holzer’s 19th Hole.  It subsequently became Chapman’s Bar and McGinley's before being purchased by the Kelly family in the 1970s.  Local sports hero and former NY Yankee, Pat Kelly, was raised in the house / bar that was well known as Kelly’s 19th Hole (due to its vicinity to neighbouring Willowbrook Golf Course).  In the early 1990s Kelly’s 19th Hole was sold and underwent a significant cosmetic change to the inside and outside as it became The Dockside Inn.  The Dockside operated as a seafood restaurant until 2005 when it was purchased and reopened as The Blue Monkey Sports Bar and Restaurant.
